This Privacy Policy explains how Inspire Labs Ltd (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information associated with the Linksync Chrome Extension (“Service”). We are committed to compliance with the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
1. Information We Collect
We distinguish between (A) User Information (data about you, the customer) and (B) Processed Data (data about the third-party contacts).
A. User Information (We are the Controller)
This data relates to the individual or company that signs up for and uses Linksync.

This data relates to the professional contacts (LinkedIn profiles) you process. This data is processed client-side, and we do not store it on our servers except during the brief AI analysis.

2. Our Use of Sub-processors (LLM and Stripe)
LLM Sub-processor (OpenAI API)
We use the OpenAI API for the necessary AI analysis. We warrant that:
- We have an executed Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with our LLM Sub-processor.
- We have contractually mandated a zero data retention policy.
- We prohibit the LLM Sub-processor from using your Processed Data for training or improving its models.
Payment Processor (Stripe)
When you make a payment, your financial data is handled by Stripe. Stripe acts as an independent Data Controller for its own compliance and fraud purposes. We refer you to the Stripe Privacy Policy for details on how they process your financial information.
3. Data Processing Roles and GDPR/UK GDPR
We act as the Data Controller for User Information (A), relying on the necessity of performing our contract with you. We act as the Data Processor for Processed Data (B), governed by your instructions and our executed DPA.
4. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
We acknowledge that the professional B2B information we collect from you (User Information) is considered Personal Information under CCPA/CPRA.
Right to Know and Right to Delete: California residents have the right to request access to or deletion of their User Information.
No Sale or Sharing: We DO NOT sell or share your User Information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. International Data Transfers and Cross-Border Disclosure
As Inspire Labs Ltd is a company registered in the UK, your information (both User Information and Processed Data) will be transferred to and processed in the UK, the United States (via cloud hosting and the LLM Sub-processor), and other jurisdictions.
Cross-Border Disclosure (For Australian Users)
If you are an individual resident in Australia, you acknowledge that your personal information will be disclosed to overseas recipients (as detailed above). By using the Service, you consent to the disclosure of your personal information to these overseas recipients, including the US, and acknowledge that Inspire Labs Ltd will not be accountable under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) for the overseas recipient’s acts or omissions. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent contractual protections to ensure the data is protected.
Access and Correction (APPs)
Australian residents may request access to, or correction of, their User Information held by us. We will respond to all requests in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
